Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 30 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

Necessary ingredients: rice and chicken, I repeat, were boiled in advance, and the dough was thawed at room temperature

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

I boiled the rice in advance in salted water (the ratio of rice to water is 1:3 cups)

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Then I washed the rice in cold water so that it remained crumbly

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

I finely chopped the onion and also fried it in preheated vegetable oil until golden brown

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Chop the boiled chicken in any convenient way

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

I did it with a blender

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Add chopped chicken, fried onions, chopped greens to the rice - I have parsley today, but you can take any other

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

Salt, pepper and mix well. The filling is ready!

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9.

I bought the finished yeast dough in the form of ready-made balls - it is very convenient to work with it, just divide it into 2 parts

  10. Step 10:

    Step 10.

Mash both parts into a flatbread

  11. Step 11:

    Step 11.

Or just roll it out thinly with a rolling pin

  12. Step 12:

    Step 12.

Spread the filling on top. I must say that such a filling fits quite a lot in one pie, and due to the fact that the dough is from the refrigerator, it is much easier to work with it

  13. Step 13:

    Step 13.

We fasten the edges and lay each pie seam down

  14. Step 14:

    Step 14.

I got 12 large pies - one such pie is enough to eat an adult) They turn out great if they are baked in the oven - they just need to be transferred to a baking sheet, let rise for 15-20 minutes and bake at 180 degrees until golden brown. But today, for my husband, I wanted to fry them in a frying pan

  15. Step 15:

    Step 15.

Fry in preheated vegetable oil until golden brown

  16. Step 16:

    Step 16.

Flip and fry on the other side

  17. Step 17:

    Step 17.

Here are such beautiful rosy pies we got

  18. Step 18:

    Step 18.

    Bon appetit!
