Cooking method

Cooking time: 50 min

1. Thoroughly rinse the fish fillet under cold running water and wipe with paper napkins. In principle, you can take any fish for this dish based on individual taste preferences. In this case, the fillet of striped bass was used.

2. To make the meat more juicy and tasty, it is better to marinate it beforehand. The marinade is based on the most common products - lemon and olive oil, as well as a few herbs - thyme and oregano.
Wash the herbs with water and dry them by spreading them on a towel.
Peel the garlic, rinse and chop the cloves. You can pass garlic through a press, grate it or finely chop it with a knife.

In a small deep container, mix olive oil, lemon juice, crushed garlic and herbs. Add a little black freshly ground pepper. Mix all the marinade ingredients together.

3. Put the fish steaks in a tight sealed bag and pour the marinade into it. Tie tightly and evenly distribute the marinade inside the package. Put the bag of fish in the refrigerator for about half an hour.

4. After half an hour, cook the grill pan. Put it on the stove and turn on medium heat. Vegetable or any other oil can not be poured, as there are remnants of olive oil from the marinade on the fish steaks.

Get the fish steaks out of the bag and shake off the excess marinade. Then put the fish in a preheated frying pan with the skin down. Season the fish on top with sea salt to taste. Fry the fish steaks until crispy golden brown on both sides. The frying time is approximately about 5 minutes on each side.

5. Put ready-made fish steaks on a beautiful dish. Before serving, garnish with slices of juicy lemon and thyme sprigs.

Bon appetit! You can enjoy!
