A simple salad of easily available products is delicious and easy. For myself, I usually prepare a salad consisting of tomatoes, black bread, dill and sour cream. But my husband likes this option more - with onions and olive oil.

    How to make a salad with black bread and tomatoes? To prepare a salad with tomatoes and black bread, we will need: ripe juicy tomatoes, a red onion, several pieces of black bread (like Borodinsky), dill, vegetable oil, ground black pepper and salt.

    Wash tomatoes, dry and cut into slices. Peel the onion and cut into half rings.

    If desired, the bread can be easily dried in a dry frying pan, in a toaster or in the oven.

    Wash, dry and finely chop the dill.

    Prepare vegetable oil. You can use olive oil, ka ya, or take sunflower, but it should preferably be unrefined. So the salad will turn out several times more fragrant and tastier.

    Combine tomatoes, bread, onion and dill in a salad bowl. Season with salt and pepper and season with vegetable oil. Mix gently.

It is undesirable to add garlic to this salad, otherwise it will kill the taste of the other ingredients. The piquancy of the onion is enough here.

Onions can be used not red, but ordinary onions.

By the way, to discourage the bitterness of the onion, you can marinate it in vinegar for 15 minutes and then rinse with water. Wheat bread can be used in the salad, as well as various crackers. For example, with tomatoes and herbs or neutral, without a specific taste.

How easy is it to peel tomatoes? Wash them, make criss-cross incisions on top with a sharp knife. Put it in boiling water for 1-2 minutes. Remove, cool slightly and remove the skin.

So that the mucous membrane of the eyes is not irritated when slicing onions, rinse the onion and knife with cold water. The cutting board will not absorb the unpleasant onion smell if you rub it with a piece of lemon before slicing.
