Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 1 h 10 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

How to make curly jam pie? Prepare the products. For the dough, both margarine and butter are suitable, choose according to taste. Choose quality products that comply with GOST. Take a thick, seedless jam, the liquid will impregnate the bottom cake and will not let it bake.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Margarine (or, like me, butter) Put it in the microwave for 10 seconds. The goal is not to melt it, but to soften it. If this did not happen in 10 seconds, then put it on for another 10. Put the soft margarine in a bowl and add sugar to it. Mix the products with a spatula. A mixer is not needed, soft margarine mixes perfectly and so.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Add one egg to the mixture. Be sure to wash the eggs before use, as even the seemingly clean shell may contain harmful bacteria. It is best to use food detergents and a brush. After each egg, knead the mass well.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Sift flour together with baking powder into a bowl. It is important to sift the flour to saturate it with oxygen. Then the baking will turn out to be airy and will rise well when baking. Knead the dough, first with a spoon, then with your hands.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

The dough will gather into a ball very quickly, you don't need to knead it for a long time, otherwise the baking will turn out to be tough. As soon as this happens, divide the dough into two parts — 1/3 and 2/3. Wrap them individually in bags or film and put away: most of them in the refrigerator, the smaller one in the freezer for half an hour.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

After a while, roll out part of the refrigerator on a table sprinkled with flour into a round layer 5-7 mm thick. Put it in a mold, make the sides. I took a round shape d 26cm. You can also use regular baking sheets, then roll out the dough into a rectangle.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Spread the dough with jam. I took raspberry jam.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

Grate the smaller part on a coarse grater. To do this, it was frozen, cold dough is easier to rub.

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9.

Place the resulting chips evenly on top of the pie.

  10. Step 10:

    Step 10.

Bake the pie in the oven, preheated to 180 ° C, for about 20 minutes, until golden brown. The exact time will depend on the characteristics of your oven and the size of the pie.

  11. Step 11:

    Step 11.

Remove the finished pie from the oven and cool. Serve it to the table, cut into small pieces, as the pie turns out soft and crumbly. Bon appetit!
