Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 40 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

If you want to make sweet delicious pastries for tea in a hurry, then look at this recipe in which I will tell you how to bake nut cookies. We take the products according to the list. We will need melted butter, so we take it out of the refrigerator in advance and leave it at room temperature for a while.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Let's start preparing the dough. In a deep bowl, combine the butter and sugar, rub everything well with a spoon. Add the egg yolks (you can add a whole egg, just the yolks make the dough more crumbly and tender). Mix everything thoroughly until a homogeneous gruel is obtained.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Add chopped chopped walnuts. I used already peeled nuts from the store, if you don't have peeled ones, then you will have to spend a little more time preparing them to beat them, peel them and get the kernels. Chop the nuts with a knife with a sharp wide blade or cover them with a bag and lightly beat them with a kitchen hammer. It is not necessary to grind them much, so that a crumb does not turn out - after all, the nuts should be well felt in the dough.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Pour in the sifted flour, knead the dough.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

The dough turns out soft and tender, if it is too sticky, add a little flour. It is always better to pour flour first less than the norm specified in the composition, and then add it, since flour for all housewives can be different and have a different percentage of gluten. Although the flour may go a little more than I indicated. Be guided by the consistency of the dough.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

We form a tourniquet from the dough and cut it into equal-sized pieces the size of a walnut, which we then roll into balls. You can pinch the dough with your hands. We spread the blanks on a baking sheet at a small distance from each other (in the oven, the cookies will increase slightly in size).

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Bake in a preheated oven at 190C for 15 minutes. During this time, it will be covered with a golden crust. Cookies are cooled, sprinkled with powdered sugar (optional) and served with tea. Have a nice tea party!

Walnut cookies are made very easily and quickly - you will cope with its preparation without much effort!
