Cookies "diamond"

Crispy on the outside and more tender on the inside, the cookies melt in your mouth! This cookie recipe is from Pierre Erme. It's crispy on top, and very tender crumbly inside! It just melts in your mouth!!! The cookies are brilliant because their shape is a truncated cone with sparkling sugar facets on the sides.

Mix softened butter with powdered sugar. Be sure to take powdered sugar, not sugar!
Should turn out like a cream. Add salt, vanilla extract, and sifted flour to it. A soft dough will come out.
We divide it into parts, from each we form sausages 2-3 cm in diameter. We wrap the sausages in a film and put them to freeze in the refrigerator. The dough will become firm at the same time.
We rub the egg, lubricate the sausages with eggs and roll them on the table, on which sugar is poured.
Cut them into pieces 2 cm wide (take a very sharp knife).
Put cookies on a baking sheet with parchment, bake it for 20-25 minutes at 180 degrees.
Take out as soon as the cookies are browned.
