Puff pastry with apple

The preparation of such air puffs will not take you much time! Since puff pastry and yeast-free dough appeared in stores, the life of housewives has become much simpler. There is a wide variety of culinary recipes of various foods based on it. My mom and I also breathed a sigh of relief, because now you don't need to spend a lot of time preparing the dough, you can just go and buy it at the nearest supermarket. I know a lot about baking their puff pastry, but now I'll tell you about, perhaps, one of the simplest recipes - about puff pastry with apple.

So, take the apples. It is better if it is sour or sweet-sour. We peel our fruits from the skin, cut into halves and cut out the core from the bones.
In the resulting halves, we make incisions from the outside so that the apples remain whole, and do not fall apart.
Now we roll out the purchased layer of dough and cut it into 6 equal squares.
After that, put 1 teaspoon of jam in the center of each square and then put an apple on top, press the edges of the dough to the apple. We put our raw cakes on a pre-greased baking sheet and put them in a preheated oven to 200 degrees for 10-15 minutes. After the cakes are ready, we take them out, pour each one with another 1 teaspoon of jam and sprinkle with nuts. You can eat them both hot and cold.
