Alfajores Argentine

Can't figure out what it is? Why deal with it - cook soon! Delicious! I'm watching my figure, really, really watching. Recently I weighed myself – ba, yes, I got thin – I was – 70 kg., I became – 68 kg. I'll tell you what's wrong. Big– big mess. I can't lose weight – my husband tells me all the time: "It's good that you don't look like a stick, or even on TV and on the street there are only sticks around." Well, I'm doing my best. This is of course a joke, but I allow myself to eat delicious, and I allow myself with joy. I bake cookies, pies, pancakes and the like. It always seemed to me that the recipe for one cookie came into my head by itself, but it turned out to be a culinary recipe of Argentine cuisine – alfajores. This is an example of the fact that delicious food knows no boundaries, and I can brag and say that my recipe is very rare, from Argentina itself.

Well, first we prepare the dough. Mix the butter with sugar, heat it up a little so that the sugar dissolves, add vanilla, zest from half a lemon and cognac. One whole egg and two yolks, flour and starch are added gradually, during kneading. Knead it so that the dough becomes elastic and does not stick to your hands. Cover with a napkin.

Roll out, cut into a glass or other shape. Bake in the oven at 150-180 ° C until a soft golden color. Sprinkle with powdered sugar, very carefully lubricate with boiled condensed milk or jam and glue together. The sides are also lubricated, and then we roll them in coconut chips or crushed peanuts.
