Yeast dough pies with cabbage filling in the oven

Very tasty and mouth-watering pies are sure to please you! In general, the dough goes well with cabbage) Our family loves baking very much, but there is a reason why I choose this particular recipe for cabbage pies - because the dough is kneaded in a cold kneading, it can be problematic to find a warm place, and then I kneaded it-put it in the refrigerator and wait for it to rise. And there are no eggs in the dough for cabbage pies, so this food stays fresh for a long time.

So let's start cooking pies with cabbage according to our recipe. I grind yeast with sugar, add milk, vegetable oil, salt. Separately mix margarine with flour. I grate margarine on a coarse grater. In the mixture with yeast, I begin to gradually add flour and when it turns out thick, I put the margarine grated on a grater, mix and then add flour. I knead the dough to the end already on the table. I sprinkle a little flour, put it in a cellophane bag and put it in the refrigerator for 30-60 minutes, during this time I am still making a filling for cabbage pies.

Very thinly chop cabbage, stew it in vegetable oil, adding a pinch of salt, one teaspoon of sugar and cumin. The filling for cabbage pies is ready.

I pull out the dough, cut a piece with a knife, roll it into a thick sausage and cut it into pieces, roll these pieces into balls in turn and let them rise a little on the table while you make other balls. I made 14 balls (as many as I can fit on a baking sheet). I start working with the dough that has already stood - I knead it with my hands into a flat cake, put 2 teaspoons of filling and pinch the edges, turn it over with a seam on the prepared baking sheet - covered with parchment paper). Bake for about 20 minutes, at 180 degrees in the middle of the oven, closer to the top. Before you put it in the oven, grease the pies with one beaten egg with a brush. I got 3 passes and only 40 cabbage pies.Enjoy your meal.
