Mushroom pie with cream filling with cheese

Delicious ruddy pie will undoubtedly delight with taste and aroma! I am sharing with you an excellent recipe for a delicious aspic pie with mushrooms. You can take absolutely any mushrooms for it, but I usually use champignons or chanterelles. It turns out that the pie is amazingly delicious and satisfying - a great dinner option, try it.

Cooking method

Cooking time: 1 h 50 min

1. Put the softened butter in a bowl, add water, salt, and break an egg. Mix everything well.
2. Sift the flour, mix it into the butter-egg mixture. Knead the dough until it is pleasant to the touch, smooth and non-sticky.
3. Wrap the finished dough in plastic wrap, put it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
4. Wash the mushrooms, cut them into plates. Finely chop the onion.
5. Heat the butter in a frying pan, put the mushrooms and onions in it, fry until tender (about 10 minutes), add salt, pepper and nutmeg. Mix everything together.
6. Turn on the oven to warm up to 180 degrees Celsius.
7. Grease the baking dish with butter.
8. Take the dough out of the refrigerator, roll it into a round layer. Put it in the mold, forming the sides.
9. Lay out the mushroom filling, spread it evenly over the entire surface of the future pie.
10. Prepare the filling: break the eggs into a bowl, beat them a little with a whisk or fork, pour cream into them, put grated cheese. Mix everything well and pour the mixture over the mushrooms.
11. Bake the pie for 35-40 minutes. It should become appetizing-ruddy.

Let the pie cool down a little and serve it to the table, garnished with fresh herbs.
