Khachapuri cottage cheese Adjarian yeast boats with egg

Cooking method

Cooking time: 1 h 25 min

1. Pour flour into a bowl, add salt and yeast, pour in water and vegetable oil. Knead a soft, elastic dough.

2. Put the cottage cheese in a bowl, beat in 1 egg and rub until smooth. Add salt.

3. Divide the dough into 8 parts, roll out each part into a round layer 0.5 cm thick .

4. Roll the edges of the formation into a tube in the direction of each other. Pinch the ends, and push the tubes apart to get a boat shape.

5. Beat the egg with a fork, lubricate all the boats with it. Put the curd filling in the center.

6. Transfer the khachapuri to a baking sheet lined with parchment and place in the oven, preheated to 200 degrees, for 20 minutes.

5. Remove the baking sheet, break an egg into each boat, then return it back and bake the khachapuri for another 5 minutes.

Serve on the table still hot, bon appetit!
