Zebra with milk in butter

Tea is much tastier if you supplement it with a piece of cake! Zebra on milk is a soft pie that impresses with its originality! The pie is baked from two colors of dough, and to make the pattern clearer, you can draw lines from the edge to the center and vice versa using a wooden skewer. It is best to bake the pie in a split form, since it is easy to extract the pastries from it without damaging its integrity.

Cooking method

Cooking time: 1 h 30 min

1. Break the eggs into a bowl, pour sugar and vanilla sugar, mix with a whisk until smooth, then pour milk and vegetable oil.

2. In the resulting mass, sift the flour together with baking powder, mix. The dough turns out smooth, homogeneous.

3. Divide the resulting dough into two equal parts, sift cocoa into one part, flour into the other, mix with a whisk so that lumps do not form.

4. The bottom of the split mold is lined with parchment, spread the dough with a tablespoon alternating white and brown. Laying out each layer, we touch the bottom of the mold with a spoon so that the drawing is as clear as possible.

5. We send the form to the oven preheated to 180 degrees, bake the pie for 45 minutes. We check the readiness with a wooden skewer.

6. We cool the pie on the grill and serve it to tea.
