How to make delicious manti in a slow cooker of minced meat?

Sift flour into a large bowl. Mix water, egg and salt in a separate container. Gradually add the liquid ingredients to the dry ones, carefully kneading the dough. The dough should turn out to be steep, at the same time elastic. If necessary, you can add a little water or flour to achieve the desired consistency of the dough. Roll the dough into a ball, cover with cling film and set aside while the minced meat is being prepared.

Cut the onion into cubes. Mix the minced meat and chopped onion in a bowl, add salt and pepper. Mix thoroughly. The stuffing is ready.

Roll out the dough into a thin layer and cut out circles from it. Put the filling in the center of each circle, pinch the two opposite sides of the manta ray. Then pinch the corners together. We will get such bags with a pinched strip inside in the center.
Pour water into a bowl for a slow cooker (as much as it is written in the instructions for a slow cooker for steaming), put a pre-greased steam plate with vegetable oil. Put mantas on top of this plate. Cook in the "Steaming" mode for 30-40 minutes (in mine it is prepared in 25 minutes).

Be prepared for the fact that flour may need more or less than indicated in the recipe. Focus not on the amount of flour, but on the desired consistency of the dough. To avoid mistakes, read about flour and its properties!

Note that the quality and taste of the finished dish largely depends on the proper defrosting of meat. How to avoid mistakes and choose the best way, read the article about defrosting.

Keep in mind that the cooking time and mode are indicated approximately in the recipe. All slow cookers work differently and even the same models of the same manufacturer may have their own characteristics. Before you start cooking a new dish for you in a slow cooker, carefully study the instructions for it, and then in practice try to cook dishes that are familiar to you first, and then new ones, choosing the mode and time individually for your own technique.
