Cooking method

Cooking time: 30 min

First, peel the zucchini from the skin and seeds, grate it on a coarse grater, add a little salt, mix and leave for 10-15 minutes so that it gives juice.

While the squash is resting, you can prepare the filling and sauce.

I found a smoked sausage in my refrigerator, I cut it into strips. You can replace it with boiled sausage, ham or boiled chicken, if you adhere to proper nutrition or simply do not like sausage products. There are no restrictions here, do what you want.

Cut the tomato into thin rings. If you have cherry tomatoes, just cut them in half. Finely chop the greens. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater.

The most important part of pizza is the sauce. You can just grease the pizza with mayonnaise, but no one in my family eats it, so sour cream is used. In a bowl, combine sour cream, half of chopped herbs, salt and garlic, passed through a garlic press. Mix well, the sauce is ready. Optionally, you can add any spices.

Now back to the squash. By this time, he should have already given the juice. Squeeze the pulp properly and transfer it to another bowl. Add egg, wheat flour, a little salt and the remaining greens to the zucchini pulp. Mix everything thoroughly. The mass should not spread out, otherwise it will be very difficult to turn it over in a frying pan.

Put the frying pan to warm up on medium heat, pour vegetable oil. When the oil warms up, spread the zucchini mass and spread it evenly over the bottom of the frying pan. Fry on one side for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.

Carefully turn the pizza base to the other side. Lubricate the toasted side with sauce, spread tomatoes, sausage and sprinkle cheese on top. Cover with a lid and leave for another 5-7 minutes. Then we put the pizza on a plate or board, decorate with herbs and serve it on the table.

The pizza turns out to be very fragrant and tender. It is much easier due to the fact that the base is made of zucchini, but at the same time it is hearty and tasty. Zucchini pizza is perfect for every day and for a festive table. Replace the sausage with boiled breast and cook it in the oven, and you will get a wonderful diet dish.
