  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

How to make a cake from corn sticks with condensed milk? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. Boiled condensed milk can be bought ready-made. But I like it better to taste cooked at home from ordinary. I cook a closed jar of plain condensed milk in boiling water for 2 hours. And I also cool it in a closed form. Corn sticks are very light and with a small weight there are a lot of them.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Cut corn sticks into pieces, approximately 15 cm each. I cut each stick into 3 parts.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Chop walnuts with a knife and fry in a dry frying pan until a characteristic pleasant aroma appears. Then pour them on a plate so that they do not burn in a cooling pan.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Melt butter and add boiled condensed milk to it. Just one jar will be enough.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

When heated, mix everything so that the mass becomes homogeneous. Condensed milk with butter will be slightly thick.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Pour chopped corn sticks into a spacious bowl and pour condensed milk.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Add fried walnuts to the corn sticks in the bowl. Mix everything so that the ingredients are evenly distributed with each other.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

To assemble the cake, put the ring on the plate and the acetate film on the sides. Spread the corn sticks with condensed milk.

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9.

Press the glass so that the sticks fit more tightly to each other. So put all the sticks in the mold. Cover the cake with plastic wrap and put it in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours so that the cake freezes.

  10. Step 10:

    Step 10.

Remove the ring and film from the finished cake. If desired, it can be decorated with melted chocolate. A delicious and quick cake made of corn sticks is ready! Have a nice tea party!

Butter can be melted in the microwave or in a water bath. How to melt butter in the microwave?  Cut the butter into small pieces and place it in a special container. To prevent the oil from splashing when heated, cover the oil vessel with a paper towel. The oil should be melted either at the lowest power or in defrosting mode. At first, five seconds will be enough. Next, if the butter has not melted yet, set it again for 5 seconds and start the microwave. Repeat the process several times until the desired result.
How to melt butter in a water bath? You will need two containers of different diameters. Pour water into a large one and put it on the stove. Place the smaller container on top so that it is submerged in water by about half. Put the sliced butter into it. Under the influence of boiling water, the oil will begin to melt. Stir the oil slightly to speed up the process. As soon as the pieces of oil are completely dissolved, remove the container from the stove.
