Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 10 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

How to bake buns in the microwave? Prepare the products for making buns. This amount of products is enough for two small rolls or one large one, which can be cut in half. Instead of water, you can take milk, the dough will be softer. With water, the recipe turns out lean.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Take a bowl, sift flour into it. Add salt and baking powder, mix.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Start kneading the dough by adding three tablespoons of water to begin with. Then, as you knead, add one spoonful as needed. The dough should become moderately thick, not liquid. It took me about 6 tablespoons of water.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Put the dough on a board sprinkled with flour and mix it a little more. Then roll out with a rolling pin into a long layer, about 10 cm wide. Focus on the height of the mug in which you will bake.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Mix sugar with cinnamon. Sprinkle the mixture over the dough layer.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Roll the dough into a roll. Lubricate the mug inside with vegetable oil. Choose dishes designed for the microwave. Place the roll in a mug.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Put the mug in the microwave. Set the highest power. Cooking time - from 45 seconds or more. Look at the status of the test. I have a maximum power of 750 watts, I held the bun for 3 minutes. I checked every minute. My bun was very thick, I think the reason for the long cooking is this. You could cut it into two parts and cook it in small mugs.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

While the bun is baking, prepare the icing sugar. To do this, add a little water or milk to the powdered sugar and stir well until smooth.

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9.

The finished bun will grow a little in volume, but it will remain white. Don't let it scare you - the dough will be absolutely ready.

  10. Step 10:

    Step 10.

Shake the bun out of the mug onto a plate - it will easily slip out.

  11. Step 11:

    Step 11.

I specially cut the bun in half so that it could be seen that the dough was baked.

  12. Step 12:

    Step 12.

Pour the icing on top of the cut or whole buns. Serve immediately while it is warm. The cold bun becomes hard.

I really doubted whether the dough would be baked, but it turned out to be absolutely ready! A little tough, though. I think it was better to add milk instead of water. And so the taste is very similar to synabones. It is prepared in minutes!

It is important to sift the flour to saturate it with oxygen. Then the baking will turn out to be airy and will rise well when baking.

Keep in mind that microwaves don't work the same way. The cooking time and recommended power may differ from those stated in the recipe. Read the instructions for your device and take into account the features of your equipment.
