Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 20 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

How to make suluguni in lavash? Prepare the products. For the convenience of roasting, I took round thin pita bread, but in general any rectangular, oval ones will do. They will just have to be folded in a different way. Put the butter in the freezer 30 minutes before cooking, then it will be easier to grate it.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Grate Suluguni on a coarse grater. If you are preparing a snack in nature, you can not rub the cheese, but cut into strips. It will melt anyway. In addition to suluguni, any well-melting cheese will do.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Remove the butter from the freezer and also grate. Choose high-quality, natural oil, without vegetable fats in the composition.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Wash and dry the greens well. Cut it finely with a sharp knife. I took parsley, cilantro and dill, green onions, sorrel, spinach are also suitable. Rough thick stems are better to remove.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Put all the ingredients of the filling in a bowl.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Mix them well. There is no need to salt it, the salinity of suluguni will be enough.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Spread the filling in a thin layer on the pita bread. If you have a rectangular pita bread, then cut it into smaller pieces that will fit in the pan. Cover the pita bread with a second flatbread. Press the top layer well with the palm of your hand.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

Preheat a frying pan over medium heat. Put the pita bread with the filling on it. Cover with a lid. Make the fire small. Hold the pita bread on one side for a few minutes, then turn it over to the other. Also, fry it under the lid until it is ready — the cheese is completely melted. Then remove and fry the other one. I fried the second one in butter, it turned out an appetizing ruddy crust.

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9.

Cut the pita bread into portions and serve immediately to the table while the cheese is still hot and stretching. Enjoy your meal!

How to choose the right pita bread? First of all, look at the date of manufacture on the package. Do not take expired pastries. Fresh pita bread should have a pleasant smell. Take a good look so that there are no stains and signs of mold on it.
