Cooking method

Cooking time: 40 min

1. Turn on the oven at 190-200 degrees Celsius.

2. Cut the salmon fillet into small steaks, no more than 1 cm thick (so that the fish has time to bake during baking). You can buy ready-made portions in the store. Rinse the fish steaks under running water and dry on a paper towel.

3. Carefully rub each piece of salmon with a mixture of salt and ground black pepper.

4. Put the cream cheese (Philadelphia type) in a small bowl and mash it with a fork. Add lemon zest to the cheese and mix everything well.
Peel a clove of garlic and pass it through a press or grate it on a fine grater. Put the chopped garlic in a bowl and mix everything thoroughly with a fork together with the cream cheese until smooth. Divide the cheese mass by the number of salmon steaks and evenly distribute it over the entire surface of the fish.

5. Wash the parsley, dry and finely chop. Grate parmesan cheese on a fine grater. In a separate container, mix the breadcrumbs, grated parmesan and chopped parsley. Sprinkle this mixture over the salmon steaks right on top of the stacked cream cheese. Then season the pieces of fish with ground paprika on top.

6. Grease the baking dish with a small piece of butter and put the salmon steaks in it. Put the form with the fish in the preheated oven to bake for about 15-20 minutes, until the fish is ready. Salmon readiness can be determined by its color - it should turn bright pink.

7. Remove the fish pan from the oven, season the baked salmon steaks with chopped parsley and serve the dish on the table. As a side dish, you can cook baked vegetables, mashed potatoes or steamed rice.

Bon appetit!
