To prepare delicious tomatoes according to this recipe, you need to take two cans of one and a half liters. They need to be sterilized, for which they put a large pot of water on the fire. Immerse the jars and lids in water, boil them for 15 minutes. When the time has passed, use kitchen tongs to remove the jars from boiling water.

While the jars are being sterilized, prepare the tomatoes: sort, wash, dry with paper towels. Peel the onion and garlic, cut them into several pieces. Wash all the greens and also dry them with paper towels.

Now you need to fill the jars with tomatoes, add oak leaves, parsley and dill, onion and garlic, bay leaves to them. Distribute all the ingredients evenly over two cans, moreover, try to do it so that the billet in the end was not only delicious, but also looked beautiful.

Pour the water into a saucepan, bring to a boil. Pour boiling water over the jars to the top. This is necessary in order, firstly, to kill bacteria, and secondly, to know the exact amount of water needed.

Pour the water from the cans back into the pan (after pouring the excess out of it) and put it on fire. Bring the contents of the pan to a boil, pour out the pepper mixture and cook them for 5 minutes. Also put sugar and salt in the process. It is necessary that all the crystals completely melt. Then add the vinegar, then pour the marinade back into the jars. Pepper peas evenly spread over the jars.

It remains to close the jars with lids and turn them upside down, wrapped in a blanket. This is necessary so that the workpieces cool down slowly, and the lid will undergo additional heat treatment at this time. You need to keep the cans upside down for 2-3 days, and then they can be stored at room temperature for a year. But if it is possible to remove the blanks in a cool place, it will be a plus.

In 14 days the tomatoes will be ready to serve! But it is best to wait at least 2 months (and ideally four) - the taste of tomatoes will then be the brightest and most saturated.

Bon appetit!
