I am a mega lover of sweets. And after breakfast/lunch/dinner, I definitely need to eat something delicious with tea. If there is no sweet, the day will go awry. But if there is no yummy in stock, you can cook it!
Today I will introduce you to the culinary recipe of Turkish cuisine - halva from semolina. An extraordinary thing with a bright taste of Turkey. It's such a food... you'll lick your fingers!
The day of the beginning, we take a saucepan, pour semolina into it and put pistachios. Now we will fry the grits with pistachios for about 40 minutes, stirring with a spoon (preferably wooden). And do not try to add either vegetable or butter!!! When the semolina does not turn pinkish, remove the pan from the heat.
Take another saucepan, pour milk into it, put granulated sugar and butter. Stirring with the same wooden spatula, boil this mixture over low heat until the milk has evaporated. Now combine the contents of the two pots and cover with a napkin, let it brew for 25 minutes (sometimes you can stir). Serve warm or cold. Oriental dessert "Halva from semolina" is ready!
