Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 1h
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

Start kneading the dough. The melted butter is mixed in a deep bowl with sour cream. I took sour cream with a fat content of 20%.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Add the remaining ingredients: pour in water, pour in sifted flour, yeast, salt and sugar. Start kneading with a spoon.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Transfer the dough to a work surface lightly sprinkled with flour. Knead the elastic dough, which should not be tight. We form a ball, wrap it not tightly with a film or cover it with a towel and leave it to rise for 45 minutes. The kitchen should be warm and all windows should be closed so that there are no drafts.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

While the dough is infused, prepare the filling. Chop the onion and cilantro with a knife, grate the cheese on a coarse grater. Instead of coriander, you can use other greens if desired, for example, parsley.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Mix all the ingredients for the filling in a bowl. Add chopped garlic. I used dry garlic, took 1 tablespoon.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Knead the dough that has come up for a couple of minutes, and then divide it with a knife into 6 equal pieces. You can do this by rolling a sausage out of it and dividing it, or you can immediately divide the ball into 6 sections.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Take 2 pieces and roll each of them out with a rolling pin into a thin cake. I got tortillas with a diameter of 20 cm (the size of a frying pan).

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

We spread the filling on one cake, not reaching the edges of 2 cm.

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9.

Cover with the second cake and pinch the edges tightly. We make 2 more tortillas from the remaining 4 pieces.

  10. Step 10:

    Step 10.

Preheat the pan, do not lubricate it with anything. We spread the tortilla. Fry until brown spots on medium heat.

  11. Step 11:

    Step 11.

Turn over and bake until ready.

  12. Step 12:

    Step 12.

Ready-made tortillas can still be greased with butter hot.
