Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 1 h
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

How to make an Emerald Placer salad? Prepare the necessary ingredients. I took chicken fillet, but you can use thighs or shins.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Wash the chicken, boil it in salted water. To make the meat for the salad more juicy, always lower the chicken into boiling water. Cook the chicken over moderate heat until tender. Remove the chicken from the broth, cool.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Pre-peeled onions wash, cut into small cubes. To remove excess bitterness from the onion, I poured boiling water on it for 15 minutes. But this is optional.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Hard-boil the eggs for 7-8 minutes from the moment of boiling. Drain the water. Fill the eggs with cold water to cool down and better peel off the shell. Rub the cooled peeled eggs on a coarse grater.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Finely chop the chicken into cubes or strips. It should be completely cooled down.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Chop the cheese on a coarse grater.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Wash and dry the tomatoes. Cut the tomatoes into large cubes. Choose juicy tomatoes, but dense. Soft fruits do not keep their shape well, in the process of slicing and cooking they will spread into a shapeless mass.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

Place a layer of sliced chicken evenly on a flat plate.

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9.

Then lay out the chopped onion.

  10. Step 10:

    Step 10.

    Apply a mayonnaise mesh.

  11. Step 11:

    Step 11.

Lay out each subsequent layer with a slightly smaller diameter so that the salad eventually takes the shape of a slide. Spread the grated cheese with the next layer.

  12. Step 12:

    Step 12.

Grease the cheese layer with mayonnaise.

  13. Step 13:

    Step 13.

Lay out the sliced tomatoes and again the mayonnaise mesh. Apply mayonnaise on the sides of the salad as well.

  14. Step 14:

    Step 14.

Cover the top and sides of the salad with grated eggs. Put the salad in the refrigerator for 1 hour, covered with cling film.

  15. Step 15:

    Step 15.

Decorate the kiwi salad before serving. Wash the fruits, peel them. Cut part of the kiwi into small cubes, place it at the bottom of the circle and on top of the salad. Cut the rest into half rings and put them on the sides. You can decorate the kiwi salad as you wish.

  16. Step 16:

    Step 16.

    Bon appetit!

It's better to prepare mayonnaise yourself. It will be tastier and healthier. See here interesting recipes for homemade mayonnaise.
Also, as a dressing, you can use not only mayonnaise, but also sour cream or natural yogurt. They can be taken separately or mixed with mayonnaise in any proportion to your taste - this will reduce the calorie content of the dish.
