Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 40 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

Prepare all the ingredients for making a cheese snack in the form of small Christmas trees.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Hard cheese three on a fine grater. "Russian", "Poshekhonsky" and a number of similar cheeses are suitable for this snack. Very soft and tender varieties of cheese will not work, it will be very difficult to grate them, and there will not be enough sharpness in the snack.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Transfer the grated cheese to a small deep bowl. Garlic is peeled from the husk and passed through a garlic chopper, add it to the grated cheese. Also, add mayonnaise to the bowl and mix. In this snack, I really like to use mayonnaise on quail eggs. The amount of mayonnaise can be adjusted, since with different cheeses it may need a little more or a little less.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

We spread the resulting snack on each round cracker with a slide and give it a cone shape.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Wash the parsley, dry it with paper towels and finely chop it. This chopped greens will represent the needles of Christmas trees.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Disassemble the pomegranate into grains, these grains will be red Christmas tree toys.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Take the first snack on a cracker, sprinkle it with chopped parsley, set the almond petals and pomegranate seeds in random order. We do the same procedure with the remaining snacks on the cracker. We put the finished Christmas trees on a dish and serve them to the festive table.

This is rather not a specific recipe for making snacks, but the idea of serving. You can prepare a completely different snack, using, for example, creamy cottage cheese or crab sticks with boiled chicken eggs, in general, your favorite ingredients. And then it's a matter of imagination: chopped greens can also be used as needles of Christmas trees, and in the form of "Christmas toys" you can use finely chopped red bell pepper, red caviar or tiny circles of carrots.
From this amount of ingredients, only 6 Christmas trees turned out. But they are very large, so the diameter of the cracker is 6 cm. To get more Christmas trees, just use cookies of a smaller diameter at the base of the Christmas trees.
