I recommend you to cook a "false" caviar."
Quite a budget and delicious dish that can be served both for breakfast and during the day, or you can diversify the festive table. They call it a "fake" for red caviar because of the herring and carrots present here, but in my opinion it is more suitable for a kind of forshmak. It's up to you!) The main ingredient of this dish is herring, which will give taste to all the other products that we have in the recipe.
I use one rule: you need to eat herring in the month, in the name of which there is a letter "R" - fish, and this is from September to April. May, June, July and August are the hottest months of the year and you need to refrain from this product. But it's up to you, so even though May is on the street, I present this recipe (my husband successfully ate my "caviar")).
The preparation of "caviar" will take place in two stages: the first is the preparation of products, and the second is directly cooking.

Preparing the products:
1. Boil carrots for 20 minutes, cool and clean. If the root crop is large, cut into several parts (four to six, depending on the size)
While the carrots are cooking, you can do the herring.
2. We clean the herring, extract the insides, separate the fillets from the bones and peel them from the skin. For further preparation, cut each fillet into three parts. I had herring with caviar, I added it here (I didn't try it with milk...)
3. We release the processed cheese from the packaging.
4. The butter should be at room temperature. Therefore, before cooking, take it out of the refrigerator for a couple of hours.
We proceed to the second stage: the preparation of our dish.
Herring, carrots, melted cheese and butter prepared by us are crushed in a blender or food processor.
We put it in clean dishes and hide it in the refrigerator. You can cook "caviar" for the future and when guests suddenly arrive or you need to quickly come up with something for a family snack, there will already be a ready dish in the refrigerator.
Shelf life - no more than five days.
If desired, before serving, decorate at your discretion (greens, vegetables, egg). But this is not necessary at all, you can just spread it on bread and enjoy the taste.
Bon appetit!
