Pour part of the vegetable oil into a frying pan with a thick bottom (add it if necessary during frying), warm it well, then put the potatoes prepared earlier. When the sausage is already well toasted, add half rings of onion and salt, mix everything again, reduce the heat, cover the pan with a lid. Simmer the contents of the pan for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Please note that the cooking time may vary, as it depends a lot on the potato variety and the power of the stove. Therefore, before turning off the stove, try a potato bar for readiness and salt and only then remove the dish from the fire.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

Potatoes with sausage and onions can be decorated with chopped green onions. So the dish will become even brighter and tastier. This dish can also be served with sauce, salad of fresh vegetables, or just fresh or pickled vegetables, salted or pickled mushrooms. Bon appetit!

So that the mucous membrane of the eyes is not irritated when slicing onions, rinse the onion and knife with cold water. The cutting board will not absorb the unpleasant onion smell if you rub it with a piece of lemon before slicing.

To check whether the oil has warmed up well enough in the pan, you can do it in a simple way. Lower a wooden spatula into it. If bubbles have gathered around it, then you can start the frying process.
