Buchlavash

Prepare a baked version of shawarma! It's delicious! Bukhlavash is a dish that is perfect as a snack to serve to guests. The dish is similar to shawarma, only it is prepared a little differently. Thanks to baking, the roll gets an appetizing golden crust. You can also serve buchlavash as a second course.

Cooking method

Cooking time: 1 h 20 min

1. Wash and peel the carrots, three of them large.

2. Peel the onion, cut into cubes.

3. Heat a frying pan with vegetable oil, spread the onion and carrot and fry until the onion is golden. In the process, we interfere.

4. Add the minced meat, fry everything together.

5. Pour salt, pepper, mix.

6. Finely chop the dill and parsley, add to the pan, stir again.

7. We put sour cream in a bowl, add mustard.

8. We spread pita bread on the work surface - both sheets overlap, so that as a result we have a long roll. If the sheet is large, one will be enough.

9. Three large cheese, evenly distributed over the surface of the pita bread.

10. We spread the hot filling on top of the cheese.

11. Pour sour cream-mustard sauce (half) on top.

12. We roll the pita bread with filling into a roll.

13. The form is lubricated with vegetable oil, we spread the future buchlavash.

14. Lubricate it with the remaining sauce and send it to the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, for 25 minutes.
