Cooking method

Cooking time: 1 h 30 min

1. Wash and peel the potatoes, after which we set them to cook (do not forget to add salt to the water).

2. At this time, we prepare the filling:

- peel and finely chop the onion,

- heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry the onion until golden,

- add minced meat to the onion, fry for 10 minutes, stirring,

- add salt and pepper, mix.

3. Potatoes are ready - we prepare potato dough:

- drain the water, mash the potatoes in mashed potatoes,

- let the puree cool down a little (5-10 minutes), then break the egg,

- we introduce flour, adding it a little at a time. The dough should be of a delicate consistency, not too steep.

4. We proceed to the modeling of pies:

- divide the dough into parts, form balls from each,

- on a work surface sprinkled with flour, knead the balls into flat cakes,

- we put the filling in the center,

- carefully form the pies (the dough is very tender!)

5. Fry the pies for 4 minutes on each side in preheated vegetable oil. We spread the finished pies on a paper towel to absorb excess fat.

Bon appetit!
