Hearty potato pies with cheese and chicken, fried in butter - it's just delicious! Once I was treated to this meal by my Polish friends, and, of course, I found out the recipe from them and fried the pies myself. I advise you to do more at once, because the pies disappear from the plate very quickly! So, first I cook potatoes in a uniform, peel them from the skin and knead them as for mashed potatoes. I add wheat flour, one chicken egg and salt to taste. Now I knead the dough, from which I roll three small sausages and cut them into pieces of the same size. I knead these pieces and shape them into circles. For the filling, I slice hard cheese into slices, and cut the boiled chicken breast into strips. I put the filling on the circles and pinch them beautifully. Now I take a deep frying pan, pour sunflower oil into it, heat it up strongly and fry the pies on both sides. Serve as soon as they are cooked, sprinkling with butter, which can be pre-mixed with crackers.
