Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 15 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

Prepare the specified products for making salad with squid and tomatoes. The squid is frozen, so it should first be taken out of the freezer. Fresh green onion. Garlic of medium size. Tomatoes are the usual two pieces or can be replaced with cherry, there are about 15 pieces. You can add ground black pepper to taste. Prepare the salad dishes.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Pre-defrost the squid. Pour water into a saucepan, add salt. Put the water on the fire and bring to a boil. Put the squid carcass in boiling water and boil it for a few minutes, do not cook longer, it will become stiff. Discard the squid in a colander, rinse under cold running water, cleaning the insides and skins. Chilled and peeled squid cut into rings (not very thick), put in a salad bowl.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Wash the selected tomatoes under running water and dry them. Remove the peduncle. If the tomatoes are large, then cut them carefully, leaving the pieces whole (so that the pulp does not peel off from the walls of the tomato). If you have chosen cherry tomatoes, then it is enough to simply cut them into two parts. Add chopped tomatoes to the salad bowl to the squid.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Rinse fresh green onions under running water, washing each onion feather. Remove not fresh and withered parts, cut off the root. Dry it a little so that excess moisture does not get into the salad. Finely chop the green onion with a sharp knife and add to the previously prepared ingredients.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Peel garlic cloves, rinse. Pass through the press and add to the salad. In a saucepan, mix soy sauce, vegetable oil (olive or sunflower, you can choose any other vegetable oil), if desired, add ground black pepper, mix. Fill the salad with this dressing and mix.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Serve salad with fresh tomatoes and boiled squid chilled. Suitable for dishes with rice or boiled potatoes.
