Lazy cabbage rolls with rice cabbage and minced meat in a saucepan

Delicious lazy cabbage rolls in tomato-sour cream sauce. The dish is very tasty, but not so lazy. In order for lazy cabbage rolls to keep their shape well during stewing, they must first be fried. In this recipe, we do without a meat grinder, we buy minced meat ready, and finely chop the cabbage.

    For lazy cabbage rolls, we will prepare the following set of products: minced meat of two types – pork plus chicken, onion, carrot, cabbage, rice, egg, salt and spices, as well as flour for breading, vegetable oil for frying and sour cream with tomato sauce for pouring. We take the required number of products according to the list.

    Wash the rice, pour 2 cups of water and boil.

    While the rice is cooking, chop the onion finely.

    Grate the carrot on a coarse grater.

    Put the onion and carrot in a frying pan with 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil, add half a teaspoon of salt and spices.

    Let's pass the onion and carrot over low heat for 15 minutes.

    Then mix the browned onions and carrots with boiled rice and leave to cool slightly.

    Put the chopped cabbage in a frying pan with 1 tbsp vegetable oil, add 0.5 tsp salt and spices.

    Let's pass the cabbage over low heat for 10 minutes, then also let it cool down a little.

    In a bowl, mix minced meat, sauteed onions, carrots and cabbage, add another half teaspoon of salt and spices.

    Also add an egg to the minced meat and knead it well with your hands.

    From the meat and vegetable mass we form lazy cabbage rolls of an oblong shape and abundantly breaded them in flour.

    Put the panicked lazy cabbage rolls in a frying pan with preheated vegetable oil and fry quickly on all sides over high heat.

    Transfer the fried cabbage rolls to a saucepan or duck house.

    Pour the lazy cabbage rolls with a mixture of tomato sauce and sour cream.
