    Prepare the dough for simple unleavened tortillas. We heat the water in an iron bowl, kettle or saucepan to a temperature of 40 degrees. Pour the water into a deep bowl, add salt and mix with a spoon until it dissolves. Now we begin to pour in the flour, which we have already measured, sifting it through a strainer so that no foreign impurities get into the dough. We begin to knead the dough with a spoon. I advise you to pour 220 grams of flour first and add it already on the table.

    When the dough grabs in a lump, we shift it to a floured work surface. Gradually mixing the remaining flour (30 grams), knead the dough. Flour may need a little less or a little more, depends on the flour itself. Focus on the consistency of the dough - not too tight, but not too soft. We form a ball from the dough and leave it to lie under the film for 10 minutes.

    Form a sausage from the ball and cut it into 10-12 identical pieces. Sprinkle the table and the dough pieces with flour.

    9 pieces put aside, take one and roll it out with a rolling pin into a thin cake of the same size with the bottom of your frying pan. If the cake does not come out perfectly round, and you want just such a one, then you can use a plate of the appropriate size as a template and cut off the edges that will peek out from under it. Next, we form the remaining tortillas.

    Heat the frying pan over medium heat, do not lubricate it with anything. Spread the tortilla and fry for 20-30 seconds on each side until brown spots appear. Do not over-dry the tortillas, otherwise they will be dry and crack when you try to roll them.

    Ready-made tortillas can be immediately put in a plastic bag so that they remain soft and easily curl into a tube, if suddenly you want to additionally stuff them with meat, cheese, vegetables, etc.

Unleavened tortillas that cook in minutes. To prepare them, you will need only three ingredients, which are always at hand for any hostess. It is better to store them in a bag, although they are eaten with lightning speed!
