Pilaf with shrimp

Diversify your menu with delicious pilaf with seafood! Pilaf with shrimp is a great dish for seafood lovers and not only. For this recipe, it is better to take a starchy kind of Arborio rice and ordinary shrimp. The weight in the ingredients is indicated taking into account that the shrimp has already been peeled.

Cooking method

Cooking time: 1 h 20 min

We are inspired to cook and proceed:

- peel onions, cut into small cubes;

- peel the garlic, crush the cloves with the handle of a knife;

- fry onion with garlic on a mixture of olive and butter;

- after three minutes, remove the garlic from the pan and pour the pre-washed rice into it;

- fry the rice for about 5-7 minutes, then pour dry wine (wine can be replaced with broth or boiled water);

- pour salt, ground black pepper and saffron, mix and simmer until the rice is ready;

- add the shrimp, cook for another 5 minutes;

- decorate the pilaf with fresh parsley and serve it on the table.
