Cooking method

Cooking time: 1 h 30 min

Turn on the oven at 160 degrees.

We clean the fish from the scales, cut off the fins and tail, rip open the belly and get rid of the insides. we remove the dark streak located along the pollock ridge.

We wash the fish well under running water and dry it, wiping it with paper towels. We put the fish carcass on a cutting board and cut it into medium pieces about 5 cm thick. Put the pieces of fish in a bowl and season with salt and ground black pepper.

Pour flour into a flat plate and dip each piece of pollock into it from all sides. Pour half of the vegetable oil into a large frying pan, heat it and fry the pieces of fish on medium heat until golden brown for about 3 minutes on each side. Spread the fried pieces of pollock on a plate.

Vegetables are cleaned, washed and dried. Cut the onion into half rings, three carrots on a coarse grater. Cut the potatoes into thin rings. We disassemble broccoli into inflorescences.

Pour the remaining vegetable oil into the pan, spread the chopped onions, carrots and potatoes and fry them over low heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally with a spatula. Season the vegetables with salt to taste and remove the pan from the heat.

We shift the vegetables from the frying pan into a deep baking dish. On top of the vegetables we put fried pieces of pollock. We put broccoli inflorescences between the fish.

In a bowl or deep bowl, we dilute mayonnaise with clean water. Then you need to add salt or other spices. Pour the mayonnaise into a baking dish, covering the pollock pieces and vegetables.

Put the dish in the preheated oven to bake for 20-25 minutes.

Ready-baked pollock with potatoes and broccoli in mayonnaise is served hot on the table.

Bon appetit!
