Garlic buns in the oven made of yeast dough

Delicious homemade buns with garlic flavor. Such buns are well suited for serving instead of bread to soup, especially borscht. You can easily cook them and take them with you to nature instead of bread. After all, they do not harden for a very long time. And they will perfectly complement the barbecue.

Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 1 h 35 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

Prepare all the necessary ingredients for making garlic buns. And we will cook them from yeast dough prepared by hand, in the oven.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Sift the flour through a fine sieve, add sugar and salt, mix. Then we pour dry yeast and mix. But you look at your yeast, some need to be injected into the liquid first and only then combined with dry ingredients.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Mix vegetable oil and water, then pour the liquid into the flour mass. It is better to take refined vegetable oil, so as not to interrupt the aroma of parsley and garlic.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Knead a soft dough that does not stick to your hands. If the dough is too thin, add a little flour. And knead the dough for at least 10 minutes, since yeast dough loves hands very much and so that it (unlike sand) is kneaded for a long time. We put it in a bigger bowl.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Cover the bowl with the dough with a towel or polyethylene and put it away in a warm place for 40 minutes so that the dough rises about twice. It can be put on a warm battery, you can knead the dough in a bread maker and wait for its proofing there. I put a bowl of dough in a slow cooker and set the temperature to 45 degrees for 40 minutes with the lid closed.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Remove the dough from the bowl and divide into pieces. I got four weighty pieces, which I rolled into balls and put in a silicone mold. You can just put them in a baking dish at a distance, greased with vegetable oil. Turn on the oven to warm up to 180 degrees.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Put it back in a warm place for 10 minutes to rise, be sure to cover it so that it does not get wet. This should not be allowed, since the surface is covered with a crust and when baking it bursts, and not a beautiful surface is obtained.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

Beat a small egg with a fork until smooth. If you do not like such a crust, then lubricate the surface of the buns with strong sweet black tea. It will also turn out a very beautiful color, though without much gloss.

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9.

Grease the top of the buns with beaten egg.

  10. Step 10:

    Step 10.

Bake in a hot oven at 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes, until cooked.

  11. Step 11:

    Step 11.

While the buns are being baked, we will make garlic sauce. Pour water and vegetable oil into a bowl. Add salt, add finely grated garlic and finely chopped parsley. Mix well until the salt dissolves. Instead of parsley, you can take kunza or dill greens.

  12. Step 12:

    Step 12.

We take out the ready-made buns and immediately lubricate the hot buns with garlic sauce. Leave for 1-2 minutes and lubricate again.

  13. Step 13:

    Step 13.

Let the buns stand in the mold for five minutes, and transfer from the molds to a plate, let cool and serve. Although for me, the most delicious when they are slightly cooled or warm.

  14. Step 14:

    Step 14.

    Bon appetit.
