Tiffany salad with grapes and chicken

Delicious jewel on the festive table! This salad is suitable for those who really like fruits in salads (grapes, pineapples, prunes, oranges). I offer the simplest classic version of this salad, the main ingredients of which are always chicken and nuts, and, of course, grapes.

Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 30 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

Prepare the specified products. Chicken fillet and eggs must first be boiled and cooled. I take a hard cheese, without a specific taste and aroma. Walnuts fried, peeled. Grapes for salad decoration, it is better to take them without seeds, a pleasant greenish shade, preferably sweet. Salt will be required if the chicken fillet was boiled without salt. Prepare suitable dishes for the salad in which it will be served on the table.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

The first layer will be chicken breast. If it was not salted during cooking, then it should be slightly salted. Cut the chicken fillet into small pieces. Peel and finely chop the salad onions. Put HALF of the chopped fillet and onion in the salad. Make a mayonnaise mesh or smear a little mayonnaise.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Chop the roasted walnuts with a knife. Put HALF of the nuts in the second layer in the salad.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Grate the selected cheese on a grater (large or medium) and put HALF of the cheese in the next layer in the salad on top of the nuts. Make a mayonnaise mesh.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Peel and grate the eggs on a coarse grater. Mix the eggs with mayonnaise and put HALF of the eggs in the next layer in the salad.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Repeat all layers, smear the last layer with mayonnaise.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Wash and dry the grapes. Cut each berry in half and cut down to decorate the entire surface of the salad, slightly pressing the berries into the layer with mayonnaise.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

The salad should be cooled before serving by putting it in the refrigerator. When serving a salad on the table, it can be decorated with fresh herbs.

The salad turned out to be very spectacular. It seems to be simple, familiar ingredients, but the taste and appearance of the salad is just a wealth. I love the combination of grapes and chicken, so I liked the salad and I plan to serve it on the festive table, because it looks really beautiful.
There are various variations of the preparation of this salad, but no matter how the ingredients are mixed, one thing remains unchanged - decorating the salad with grapes, imitating a gemstone.
