Potato zrazy with cheese in the oven

Dietary version of zraz with a very tasty filling and crispy crust. A very tasty filling, which contains hard cheese and herbs, becomes juicier due to these additional ingredients. You can take any minced meat. Chicken or turkey fillet will make this dish more dietary. Baking in the oven makes zrazy even more dietary, since they do not absorb the fat that is in the frying pan during frying (with a more familiar way of cooking this dish). Baking will also save you from having to stand at a hot stove and save you time. When baking in the oven, a crispy crust is formed on the zraz. And this is delicious!

Step-by-step cooking

  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

How to make potato zrazy with cheese in the oven? Prepare the products. Peel the vegetables, wash them and the greens. Take any minced meat (I have pork and beef). You can buy ready-made. I prefer to cook it myself.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Cut the potatoes into 4-6 pieces (depending on the size), put them in a saucepan, pour cold water and boil until tender.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Mash the finished potatoes into a thick puree, add egg and salt.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Grate the cheese. Chop the greens finely, add it to the minced meat along with the egg (if it seems to you that the minced meat will fall apart without it) and with a spoonful of sour cream or mayonnaise. Add salt and pepper to taste, mix the minced meat thoroughly again until smooth.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Form a tortilla about 5 mm thick on your hand. It is better to do this with your hands soaked in water, then the potato dough will not stick to your hands. Put the minced meat in the center of each tortilla.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Put some mashed potatoes on top of the minced meat and form the desired shape. I made them oval. Then roll the zrazy in breadcrumbs. And do this as long as there is potato dough and minced meat.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Grease a baking dish or baking sheet with vegetable oil, put the zrazy in it. Put in the oven for 40 minutes, bake at 160-180 degrees (focus on your oven) until golden brown. During cooking, you will need to turn the zrazy once.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

Everything, delicious and fragrant zrazy is ready. Serve hot. They are very good with sour cream. Bon appetit!

How do I know if an egg is fresh? Break it into a separate container. First of all, there should be no unpleasant smell. The protein of fresh eggs will be transparent and clean. The yolk should not spread and will be shiny, convex, homogeneous.

If you use ready-made spice mixes, be sure to read the composition on the package. Often, salt is already present in such mixtures, take this into account, otherwise you risk over-salting the dish.
