Buns hearts with sugar

How nice it is sometimes to bake something from the beautiful distant past. Here, for example, are the well-known buns of the Soviet era - they are both delicious and simple, and they are very much loved by kids who, after trying once, will often ask to cook them again. And the shape of the hearts will express love for your family and friends. At home, buns can be layered with many ingredients, but I have recently become very fond of the taste of nutmeg, which is an excellent antidepressant and aphrodisiac, and, in addition, has many positive qualities that you can learn about separately. And in this recipe there will be delicious buns with its aroma and taste.

The sight of these buns makes you want to pour invigorating tea, add fresh mint leaves and a spoonful of honey, and let the whole world wait!

Let's get started:

1. To begin with, mix all the dry ingredients, make a recess and mix the egg and warm milk.

2. Knead the dough without adding flour, but if it sticks too much, then you can lubricate your hands with oil and knead until it stops sticking.

3. We put the mass in a warm place, or at the very bottom of the refrigerator until tomorrow, it will increase several times there.

4. We roll the finished dough into a long sausage and at the same time warm it up with our warm handles. Then we divide it into uniform portions, which you can determine for yourself, with the expectation of increasing at least twice.

5. Each piece of dough should be rolled into a square about 4-5 millimeters thick. Now they need to be well lubricated with vegetable (you can also butter) oil, and sprinkle liberally with granulated sugar, and then you can add your favorite sweet flavors, I have nutmeg, which I keep whole, and only at the very last moment I pass through the smallest grater, half of the nut is enough. The fragrance is awesome!

6. We roll the dough into a roll and pinch the edges.

7. Now we are forming future buns hearts with sugar. We fold the roll in half, seam inwards. Flatten a little and connect the edges together with thin pinches. Holding these edges, we cut the roll along and turn the two side layered sides outwards.

8. Preheat the oven, and after 10-15 minutes you can grease the baking sheet and put the bun on it and in the oven. You can also lay parchment paper or foil (also lubricate with oil).

9. While the buns are being baked, you need to make sweet water. Here you can dilute the amount of sugar and water at your discretion, if you want - thicker and sweeter, or slightly sweetened.

10. After 15-25 minutes, when the pastries are slightly gilded, smear them with sweet syrup and back into the oven. This action will make the crust especially tasty, shiny and appetizing. Bake for another 10 minutes and if you like the color, then the buns are ready.

Give them time to rest and come to their senses, covering them with a napkin, because, as you know, the dough is not very good for the stomach with heat and heat, and only then you can organize a fragrant tea and invite everyone to beautiful heart buns.
