Baked mussels

Seafood and gourmet lovers will appreciate the delicate taste and delicate aroma. I want to introduce you to a culinary recipe that I discovered for myself quite recently. Once I ordered baked mussels with my friends in a Japanese restaurant. Six halves of mussels were brought on a plate, which were covered with a beautiful and fragrant cheese crust. This dish struck me with its taste, and I decided to cook it myself at home.

You need to buy a package of frozen mussels in the sink at any store. Not to be confused with mussel meat - it is without shells. Mussels can be called in different ways: green mussels in halves or just large mussels in halves.
I just put them under warm water to defrost them, then spread the mussels on a greased baking sheet. At the same time, I prepare the filling of mussels – I mix grated cheese with mayonnaise and squeezed garlic. I put a teaspoon of the mixture in each mussel and put everything in the oven for 10-15 minutes. I do not advise keeping mussels in the oven for a long time – they will become like rubber. This dish is also very economical – in a Japanese restaurant, a portion of six halves of mussels costs 200-300 rubles, and a kilogram of frozen mussels (20-30 pieces) costs 200 rubles. Enjoy your meal!
