Cabbage is one of the healthiest vegetables, while the prices for it at any time of the year are quite low, which allows you to cook cabbage dishes at any time of the year.
Today I want to tell you a recipe for steaming cabbage.
Thanks to the use of modern kitchen appliances, the life of a housewife is greatly simplified.
We wash the cabbage head, remove the upper leaves and finely chop it.
In a small saucepan, mix water, vinegar, cumin, salt, pepper and sugar. Boil the resulting mixture for about four minutes, and then remove from the stove.
We cut the Bulgarian pepper into pieces and put it together with the already chopped cabbage in a steamer container.
Cook under a covered lid until fully cooked. I like it when the cabbage stays a little crispy. You may prefer soft cabbage, so the cooking time is not specified.
Spread the cabbage on a dish and pour the prepared sauce through a strainer.
After thoroughly mixing, serve the cabbage for a couple to the table.
You can use such a dish both as a side dish and as a separate independent second course.
