Kvass with horseradish

Quenches thirst and warms up the appetite twice as fast as regular kvass! Kvass with horseradish is a vigorous drink, and unlike ordinary kvass, it is doubly more vigorous. Quenches thirst, warms up appetite and is an indispensable component in okroshka. To prepare kvass with horseradish is quite simple and feasible at home, but requires a lot of time, because the fermentation process is not a quick thing.

Dry in the oven or in a frying pan without oil, sliced stale rye bread. Put the bread in a saucepan (keep in mind that you can use glass or enameled to make kvass with horseradish),
pour 6-7 liters of boiling water and leave for 4 hours.Strain, add yeast (dilute them in the same wort), sugar. When the foam starts to stand out, add chopped horseradish and honey, let it brew for another couple of hours.
Strain, bottle. Add a little raisins to each one and put it in a cool place for a few days. Serve kvass with horseradish on the table chilled.
