Do you like spicy? Stock up on spicy ketchup for the winter! Of all the tomato sauce recipes that I came across, this one pleased me the most. The result exceeded all expectations! The sauce turns out to be quite sharp, burning. Everything is as I like it! In addition, it is excellent as an additive in the preparation of various dishes. For example, I sometimes put it in borscht or vegetable stew.

It will not be difficult to prepare a spicy tomato sauce for the winter. We will start, of course, with washing vegetables and cleaning them. Be sure to take tomatoes ripe, juicy, with a rich taste.

Tomatoes, bell peppers, chili peppers and 4 garlic cloves are twisted through a meat grinder. Then pour the resulting vegetable mass into a large stainless steel saucepan, put it on medium heat and wait for it to boil. Immediately after boiling, reduce the heat and cook for half an hour under a covered lid, not forgetting to stir.

After half an hour, add salt, sugar and ground black pepper to the contents of the pan. Pour vinegar, mix thoroughly, cover with a lid. Leave the mixture to cook for another half hour.

When this time has passed, add the finely chopped remaining garlic (4 cloves) to the pan. Cook for another 15 minutes on low heat.

Tomato sauce is ready. We remove it from the stove and pour it directly hot into sterile jars, close the lids. Now the cans need to be turned upside down, wrapped in a blanket and allowed to cool completely.

You can store the sauce prepared according to this recipe even at room temperature.
