Juice from mountain ash

Rich in taste and vitamins, the juice of mountain ash is simply gorgeous! Result The juice of the chokeberry is quite tasty in itself, but I also like to mix it with apple juice – it turns out just an amazing drink.

The recipe for making chokeberry juice is simple.
Rowan berries are sorted, removing twigs and debris. Then thoroughly washed with cold water, thrown into a colander or sieve.
Ready-made berries should be processed into puree. I use a food processor in the grinding mode for this. You can just stretch it with a wooden pusher.
We put the crushed berries in a cloth bag and squeeze the juice out of them.
Fill the remaining berries with water at the rate of a glass of water per kilogram of berries and leave for an hour.
Repeat the pressing procedure and add to the previously obtained juice.
This procedure should be repeated several times until the rowan tree completely gives up all possible juice.
The resulting juice should be filtered and poured into clean, dry containers (cans, bottles). If desired, you can add sugar at the rate of two cups of sugar per liter of mountain ash juice.
Juice containers are sterilized and covered with lids.
It is necessary to store the ready-made juice of mountain ash away from sunlight in a cool place.
