Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 20 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

Prepare all the necessary products. Take the fruits dense, not overripe, so that they keep their shape very well and do not turn into porridge. Before using, wash the fruit well, it is advisable to use a special brush and a fruit detergent for this. I took the usual white sugar, but you can also take brown sugar - it will also give the finished dish a light caramel taste.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Wash the peaches, dry them, remove the bones and cut into medium-sized slices.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Wash the cans well (preferably with soda and salt), sterilize. I put a spoon in each jar and pour boiling water, leave it for 10 minutes and then drain the water. But you can also sterilize cans in the microwave, in the oven, and over a pan with steam. It is enough to boil the lids.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Place the sliced peaches tightly in a jar.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Pour boiling water, cover with a lid and leave for 10 minutes.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Drain the water, add sugar to it. Based on 1 cup of water, 3 tablespoons of sugar. You should get a fairly sweet syrup. While the syrup is boiling, you can add some spices to the jar with peaches. Perhaps it will be a vanilla pod, a cinnamon stick or a star of star anise. Also, the same spices can be taken in the form of a hammer.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Bring the syrup to a boil. Boil for 2-3 minutes.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

Pour into the jar all the way to the top. Close or roll up the lids, turn over and leave to cool completely. Peaches will be ready for use in 10 days. But they are also perfectly stored in ordinary apartment conditions, without requiring a refrigerator.

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9.

You can serve such fruits together with ice cream, decorate cakes and other desserts with them. Fruit syrup is also useful for impregnating biscuits, again for ice cream and various drinks. Bon appetit!

In the same way, you can preserve any fruit and even, perhaps, assorted different fruits. A jar of such preservation in winter will bring a piece of summer to your home.
Bon appetit!
