Mimosa in pita bread roll

Snack roll of pita bread and canned saury. Mimosa salad is one of the salads that was prepared back in the Soviet years. But so far it has not lost its relevance, because it can be easily prepared from available products, which makes it quite budget-friendly. One of the ways of serving that I suggest is a snack roll using pita bread.

  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

Prepare the specified ingredients for the preparation of a snack roll with pita bread and the main components of the salad "Mimosa". It is better to take lavash consisting of three sheets, if there is no such thing, then cut the existing layer into three equal parts. The cheese is hard. Then you can: either roll up each layer with a roll, and then add it to the next sheet with a filling, or immediately lay out the next sheet of pita bread and apply the filling.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Open the jar of canned saury carefully, put the fish in a bowl and mash with a fork. Lay out the next sheet of pita bread, grease it with mayonnaise and evenly spread the mashed saury.

You can also sprinkle fresh herbs here. Then roll up all the layers, wrap them in plastic wrap or foil and put them in the refrigerator for at least half an hour. Cut the finished roll of pita bread with canned saury and serve as a cold snack.

Mimosa salad is a festive salad, the main ingredients of which are cheese, eggs, canned fish, onions, butter and mayonnaise.
Mimosa salad got its name because of its appearance - the surface of the prepared salad resembles spring mimosa flowers scattered on the snow. The classic salad recipe is made in layers and is very popular among housewives (especially in the Soviet years). Due to its popularity, many variations of salad preparation have appeared. Even now it is possible to prepare a salad using lavash, alternating layers with the main components of the salad. This variation is very convenient - you can easily take it with you.
