Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 40 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

How to make squid shrimp egg salad? Prepare all the necessary products. I know from my own experience that the salad is tastiest if the squid is unpeeled. Although it is quite possible to take a white peeled or even canned in a jar. Shrimps, of course, are better bigger. But it is also allowed to use small peeled, so-called salad shrimp. Eggs are better large, homemade. Well, at least, WITH.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Clean the squid. First you will have to remove a thick dark purple layer in the form of a film, so you will clean it to a white state, such squids are also sold in the store. Then you will have to remove the thin skin. Keep in mind that the skin must be removed both from the outside and from the inside. It is most convenient to do this under very hot water. Try not to tear the skin and take it off with a stocking".

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Boil the water, add a little salt to it. Lower the cleaned squid carcasses into boiling water and cook from this moment for no more than 2 minutes. After the specified time, the squid will begin to become rubbery and stiff. But this is also fixable. If you accidentally overcooked the squid, continue to cook it for another 2 hours and it will become soft again. Squid must be boiled for either 2 minutes or 2 hours.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Peel the shrimps. Because the shrimps are boiled and frozen, it is not necessary to cook them at all. You can simply pour boiling water or hot water over them, then drain the water after 10 minutes.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Drain the water from the squid, cool it a little and cut it into thin strips. However, the type of slicing can also be to your taste: both a cube and rings.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Boil hard boiled eggs. This is usually about 8-10 minutes after boiling. Cool, peel and cut into cubes.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Mix everything chopped, add a little salt. But quite a bit, because the squid was cooked in salt water, and the mayonnaise is quite salty.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

Season the salad with mayonnaise and mix everything well. I recommend using homemade homemade mayonnaise - at least you know what it was made from. Those who wish may well replace mayonnaise with delicious fatty sour cream or vice versa, with light yogurt without additives, for example, Greek.

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9.

Serve the salad immediately to the table. Bon appetit!

It is better to prepare mayonnaise yourself. It will be tastier and healthier. See the interesting ones here recipes for homemade mayonnaise.
Also, as a dressing, you can use not only mayonnaise, but also sour cream or natural yogurt. They can be taken separately or mixed with mayonnaise in any proportion to your taste - this will reduce the calorie content of the dish.

How to cook hard-boiled eggs? So that the eggs do not crack when cooking, put them in cold water and put them to cook on a small fire. Boil the eggs for 9 minutes after boiling, then pour cold water and cool. From a sharp temperature drop, the shell will be better cleaned.
