Pour water into a saucepan and put it on the stove. Wash and cut the apples into small slices. Immediately add the frozen currants to the apples, mix and leave to boil. Previously, the berry is not scalded with boiling water and is not washed.If some garbage accidentally got caught during freezing, it will remain with the pulp when straining.
After 5-7 minutes, add sugar. When the compote has boiled, we leave it to boil over low heat for 10 minutes. Turn it off, cover it with a lid - let it stand. We filter the compote through cheesecloth, we simply throw away unnecessary residues. The result is a fragrant and delicious drink, so to speak, greetings from a warm summer.
In this state, we twist the compote into pre-prepared sterilized jars and store it until winter.
