Cooking method

Cooking time: 5 h

Rinse cucumbers thoroughly under running water. Then put the cucumbers in a basin and pour a large amount of cold water for about 3-4 hours. During this time, cucumbers will be saturated with water, which will make them even more delicious and crispy.

While cucumbers are in the water, you can prepare jars for rolling pickles. They need to be thoroughly rinsed with hot water with baking soda or detergent and scalded with boiling water. Then put it on a clean towel in an inverted form so that the water runs off. Cover for rolling, fill with water, boil in a saucepan.

Peel garlic, rinse and disassemble into cloves.

Umbrellas of dill, currant leaves and horseradish are also washed with water, you can pour boiling water over them. Then dry, spread out on a paper towel.

After the cucumbers have stood and been saturated with water, take them out. Put the washed greens in a clean prepared jar. Then fold the cucumbers tightly so that there is almost no free space left. Also put umbrellas of dill between cucumbers, leave some for later.

In a medium-sized saucepan, boil clean water and pour it over the cucumbers folded in a jar. Cover the jar with a clean lid and leave in this position for 7-10 minutes.

Then drain the water from the cucumbers into the sink and pour hot boiling water over them again. Cover the jar with a lid and leave for about 5 minutes.

Drain the water from the cucumbers again, but back into the pan and cook the brine. To do this, pour salt and sugar into a saucepan, mix. Bring the contents of the pan to a boil and pour table vinegar into the hot brine. Then remove the pan from the heat.

Add peppers, allspice, remaining dill and garlic cloves to the jar. Pour the cucumbers with hot brine and immediately roll up the jars with clean lids. Sweet cucumbers are ready! After cooling, transfer the jars to a dark, cool place for storage.

Successful preparations!
