Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 45 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

    Prepare our ingredients.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

The first step is to cook chicken fillet. I sprinkled it with spices and fried it until cooked in a frying pan, but, if desired, the fillet can also be boiled in water or baked in the oven. Choose the method that you like best. Let the finished fillet cool completely.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Also boil hard-boiled eggs and boil carrots until fully cooked. We will need carrots for decoration. Let all the ingredients cool down.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Chicken fillet cut into small cubes or cubes.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Grate the hard cheese on a coarse grater.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

We also cut two medium tomatoes into a small cube, but first the tomatoes must be cleaned of seeds, they can be easily removed with a teaspoon. The seeds need to be removed to get rid of excess moisture.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Boiled eggs are cleaned and grated on a fine grater. We put them aside.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

In a salad bowl, combine chicken fillet, cheese, tomatoes and canned corn.

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9.

Add a small amount of mayonnaise, and also, if desired, season the salad with salt and pepper. Mix it up.

  10. Step 10:

    Step 10.

Now we are forming a "Rooster". To do this, we spread our salad on a flat dish, trying to give it the shape of a cockerel's body.

  11. Step 11:

    Step 11.

We cover the salad from all sides with grated eggs laid aside, pressing them lightly against the surface of the salad.

  12. Step 12:

    Step 12.

And now we begin to decorate. We make the eye from olives, but, if desired, you can take a pea of allspice or a piece of prunes. Cut out a scallop and a beard from a piece of tomato. Boiled carrots are cut into narrow strips and we form wings and tail from them, as well as a beak. Also, to add volume to the wings and tail, we put dill twigs. I also added pieces of olives to the tail. We tear the parsley leaves from the twigs and decorate our salad with them from below.

  13. Step 13:

    Step 13.

That's it! Delicious and bright salad "Cock" is ready for the New Year 2017! Enjoy your meal!
