This recipe is perfect for girls who love to eat sweet, but at the same time watch the figure. Cherry jam without sugar is very tasty!
To begin with, you should prepare a water bath. The best way to do this is a saucepan filled with water, into which we will lower another smaller saucepan or bowl. Put the frozen berries in a bowl (no pre-defrosting is required) and put it in a saucepan with boiling water.
The first half hour it is necessary to boil the cherries on high heat, then, reducing the heat, cook for another hour. Turning down the heat again, we cook the berries for about an hour and a half. You should add water to the pot if necessary. In the last half hour of cooking, you can see how the berries turn into jam.
We take out a bowl of ready-made jam from a saucepan, cover it with a film and cool it. Then we transfer it to a clean jar and store it in the refrigerator. From 600 grams of frozen cherries, about 80 grams of cherry jam without sugar is obtained.
For those who for some reason do not like cherries, I advise you to replace it with any other berry or fruit. I think that the cooking method will not change from this - the main thing is to keep track of the moment when berries or fruits turn into jam.
