Salad with walnuts and pineapple

Exotic lovers will be smitten on the spot! Gentle, appetizing and fast! Salad with pineapple, ham and nuts is a New Year's salad. That's what my kids told me. It has already become a tradition to cook it for the new year instead of olivier. The culinary recipe was found quite by accident, I wanted something new and for this purpose thin pamphlets with recipes were bought. Usually we choose a couple of recipes from there and bring them to the state of food in our kitchen, but this recipe did not need any refinement. Everything here is harmonious and the products combine well. I was afraid that pineapples would be superfluous with their sweetness, but they lay down just very well.

Boil eggs and potatoes, cool and peel. Three eggs and potatoes on a large grater in different containers. Cut the onion into thin half-rings and pour boiling water over it. Ham cut into thin strips, pineapple cubes. We fry the nuts a little in a dry frying pan, pour them into a bag and walk over it with a rolling pin several times. In a deep salad bowl, put half of the potatoes in a layer, add salt, lubricate with mayonnaise. Top with ham, half the norm, mayonnaise, sprinkle with nuts. We put onions, eggs and pineapple. Lubricate with mayonnaise. Again potatoes, ham, nuts, onions, eggs and pineapple. Do not forget about mayonnaise. Sprinkle walnuts on top and put them in the refrigerator for impregnation.
